The study

The Pew Research Center has been conducting extensive research for years in a bid to finally answer who belongs in what generation. There have been many debates over the years, and some people have found themselves being pushed from pillar to post as they try and discover where they belong. Could they have really answered the long-time question of where these generations begin and end?

The Silent Generation and Baby Boomers

The Silent Generation apparently applies to those born between 1928 and 1945, while the Baby Boomers are those born between 1946 and 1964. These two generations are incredibly interesting thanks to all the significant events that happened in history during this time. As well as living through World War II, many in these generations will have also witnessed the Great Depression, John F. Kennedy’s assassination, and the world organizing who owns what country. All these events have shaped these generations into the parents and grandparents of today.
